APC USA exposes sham NADECO group’s attempt to discredit President Tinubu

The All Progressives Congress USA has issued a resolute statement addressing and denouncing what they allege to be a fabricated plot by an opposition group impersonating the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) USA.

This statement, bearing the signature of Professor Tai Balofin, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, USA, has cast a spotlight on a purported imposter group, which intends to hold a World Press Conference with the intention of disseminating unfounded claims regarding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s educational background.

In the statement, the All Progressives Congress USA emphasized the importance of relying on substantiated facts over premature and baseless allegations and stressed the need to distinguish between genuine inquiries and unfounded accusations.

They cited that allegations concerning President Tinubu’s educational certificate from Chicago State University (CSU) have already been addressed, with CSU confirming the certificate’s authenticity. The matter, they pointed out, is under the jurisdiction of the appropriate authorities and will follow due legal procedures.

Furthermore, the statement underlined President Tinubu’s immense contributions to Nigeria’s political landscape and emphasized that attempts to tarnish his reputation for political motives and blackmail are counterproductive and unbecoming.

It was clarified that the group organizing the World Press Conference under the NADECO USA banner is distinct from the original NADECO, of which President Tinubu was a part during the Abacha era. The public was urged not to be misled by these attempts to distort historical facts.

In conclusion, the All Progressives Congress USA expressed its firm stance against any endeavours aimed at undermining President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reputation, which in turn impacts Nigeria’s standing.

They expressed confidence in democratic processes and the judicial system to address legitimate concerns, emphasizing that baseless allegations distract from pressing issues.

Supporters of the Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, and those of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Alhaji Atiku Abubakar were advised to await the outcome of the Supreme Court ruling.

As a means to provide clarity to the public and international community, APC USA announced plans to organize a public campaign in Chicago on Monday, October 23, 2023, during which a world press conference will be held to illuminate the true situation in Nigeria and the progressive leadership that President Bola Tinubu provides for the nation.
