Daughter of Borno State House of Assembly member found strangled to death

In a heart-wrenching incident, the daughter of Hon. Bukar Abacha, a member of the Borno State House of Assembly representing Ngala, was discovered strangled to death in their Gidan Dembe residence in Maiduguri.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the victim’s grief-stricken husband, who found her lifeless body with her hands and legs bound behind her back, as their two-year-old child cried inconsolably.

The dreadful incident occurred on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, and was immediately attended to by the Gwange Police Division, who transferred the victim’s remains to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for an autopsy and further investigation.
