Israel Vs Gaza: Netanyahu is trying to instigate another World War – Bolaji Akinyemi

Professor Bolaji Akinyemi, Nigeria’s former Minister of Foreign Affairs, has made a startling claim regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, suggesting that he is attempting to provoke World War III.

Akinyemi made these remarks during an interview on ARISE Television, focusing on the ongoing Israel-Palestine crisis.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict, rooted in historical colonial actions, has resulted in the loss of tens of thousands of lives and the displacement of millions of individuals. With Israel declaring war on the Gaza Strip following an unprecedented attack by the Palestinian group Hamas on Saturday, global attention is once again captured by what may unfold next.

In response to the situation, Professor Akinyemi expressed his belief that Netanyahu aims to exploit the war between Israel and Hamas to ignite World War III by inciting a confrontation between the United States and Iran.

He stated, “Netanyahu is actively trying to initiate a third world war by pushing for a confrontation between America and Iran in this conflict, if he were to succeed. This is his plan, to manipulate America and Iran into direct military engagement, and then, may God help all of us.”

Akinyemi further highlighted that despite the American government stating that they have no evidence implicating Iran in Hamas’ actions, some pro-Israeli journalists and scholars are pressuring the US administration, through the media, to link Iran’s involvement in the conflict.

The professor emphasized that such a decision to engage in military confrontation with Iran would have tragic consequences for all parties involved.
