PDP national secretary questions integrity of INEC chairman Mahmood
The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Debo Ologunagba, has raised concerns about the credibility of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu.
Ologunagba questioned whether Professor Yakubu could walk 100 meters with integrity in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) or any other state in the country.

During an interview on Prime Time, an Arise Television program, Ologunagba described the Chairman of INEC as an embarrassment and attributed the lack of trust in the February 25, 2023 Presidential election to the failures of the Electoral Body.
He emphasized that election matters should not need to be resolved in court, but due to the shortcomings of the Electoral Umpire, accepting defeat has become challenging for political actors.
Ologunagba refrained from commenting specifically on Atiku Abubakar’s case at the Supreme Court.
