Police in Ogun arrest pastor, 3 others with human skull

The Ogun State Police Command has apprehended Pastor Oyenekan Oluwaseyi, a clergyman associated with the Christ Liberty Evangelism Church, along with three other individuals, for possessing a human skull.
The arrest took place in the Saje Area of Abeokuta, the state capital.
According to a source within the police command, the suspects were investigated due to their suspicious movements and activities, which were subsequently reported by members of the public.
Acting swiftly on the tip-off, the police swiftly mobilised and conducted an operation in the area, resulting in the successful arrest of the four individuals.

The individuals arrested with Pastor Oluwaseyi have been identified as Ibrahim Agbowewe (30 years old), Suleiman Ogunbunmi (40 years old), and Gafari Akinsanya (57 years old).
The suspects reportedly confessed to the authorities that they had planned to utilise the human skull for ritualistic purposes.
During the operation, law enforcement officers recovered several items from the suspects, including a large calabash, a black Toyota Camry car, and a ram.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, confirmed the arrest and the suspects’ confession, revealing that they had admitted their intentions to employ the skull for blessings and money rituals.
SP Odutola said investigations are currently underway to uncover more details surrounding the incident and law enforcement authorities are diligently working to gather all the necessary information while ensuring that justice is served.
