Terrorists kidnap 5 female students from Federal University of Katsina
In a distressing turn of events, suspected terrorists have reportedly abducted five female students from the Federal University in Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State.
The news was confirmed by Muhammad Fatima, a relative of one of the victims, who disclosed that the terrorists forcefully entered the students’ private lodge along Moriamoh Ajiri School and abducted the young women.

Among the abducted students, three are from Kwara State, while one each is from Kano and Niger State. The names of the two remaining students have not yet been identified.
This abduction comes just twelve days after a similar incident where numerous female students were kidnapped from a public university in Zamfara State.
The alarming frequency of such incidents raises concerns about the security of educational institutions and the safety of students.
Efforts are being made to locate and secure the release of the abducted students, while the authorities are urged to take decisive action to prevent such heinous acts in the future.
