Wizkid joins siblings to honour late mother at candlelight session
Nigerian music star Ayo Balogun, known as Wizkid, recently attended a candlelight session in Lagos for his late mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, who passed away on August 8.
The cause of her death is yet to be revealed.
Wizkid, who is known to have been fond of his mother, looked gloomy during the event as he mourned her loss with his siblings.

Her funeral service will be held on October 13 at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) City of David, Victoria Island in Lagos.
The deceased, who was born on July 14, 1957, is survived by her husband Muniru Olatunji Balogun and four children: Yetunde Balogun, Omolara Osunkoya, Olubusayo Balogun, and Ayodeji ‘Wizkid’ Balogun.
Grammy award winner Wizkid is a prominent figure in the modern-day Afrobeats music scene and an influential African artist.
He began recording music at the age of 11.
