Yobe marks 2023 International Day of Girl Child
In a remarkable show of solidarity, girls across Yobe State come together to observe the 2023 International Day of the Girl Child. Under the theme “Invest in Girls’ Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-being,” the event was graced by the presence of Save the Children International (SCI), who organized a thought-provoking Children’s Press Conference in the state.

As part of the activities, Save the Children International (SCI) organized a Children’s Press Conference in Yobe State in order to provide a platform for young girls to express their concerns and challenges.
Hajiya Murjanatu Kabir, the Advocacy Campaign and Policy Manager at Be-Protected, while fielding questions from newsmen said that the program is geared towards creating a safe environment where Girls could meet to discuss issues bedeviling them and chart solutions.
