Maritime Cup 2023: Customs triumphs over NAGAFF, advances to face NPA in finals

The Nigeria Customs Service emerged victorious in the semi-final, securing their position in the final stage of the Maritime Cup 2023 after defeating the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) with a lone goal.

In a press release signed by the Superintendent of Customs Akinwale Fatoki, the intense match lasted nearly an hour, Superintendent Sani Buhari scored the winning goal, propelling the NCS to the finals.

The semi-final match, initially slated for 3 pm, faced a brief delay due to a protest from the NCS Team, alleging the presence of mercenaries among the NAGAFF players.

After receiving advice from the Match Commissioner, the match proceeded, and NCS emerged as the triumphant team.
