Bandits attack Zamfara LG, kill 10-year-old pupil, 2 others
Three individuals are feared to have lost their lives in a bandit attack on Kaura-Namoda town, the administrative center of Kaura-Namoda Local Government Area in Zamfara State.
An eyewitness reported that the bandits stormed the town at approximately 9 pm on Tuesday, firing gunshots indiscriminately, causing residents to seek refuge.

A resident of Kaura-Namoda town, Ismaila Kaura, informed News Point Nigeria that among the victims was a 10-year-old female student named Ni’ima, who was on her way to Islamic school at the time of the attack.
Troops from Operation Hadarin Daji, deployed to the town, engaged the bandits in a gunfire exchange, compelling them to retreat from the town.
Authorities from the police department in the state have not provided any comment concerning the recent attack.
