Gov. Buni lauds Tinubu for appointing ‘Yobe’s illustrious son’, Tumsah, to NNPCL Board
Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, CON, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the appointment of Alhaji Kashim Musa Tumsah, into Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) Board and Management Team.
According to a statement signed by Mamman Mohammed, DG, Press, and Media Affairs to the Governor, and made available to Neptune Prime, Buni said the government and good people of Yobe State heartily welcome this honour by the federal government by appointing one of its illustrous sons on the NNPCL board.
“This appointment gives the state a sense of belonging, and we sincerely appreciate this recognition,” Buni said.
The governor expressed confidence in the qualities of Tumsah, saying, “he is a well-grounded personality adequately prepared for the job.

“l have a lot of confidence in his ability to contribute greatly to achieve the set goals and ideals of the corporation,” Governor Buni reiterated.
He enjoined the people of the state to support the appointee with prayers for him to execute the duties of his office creditably well, and do the state proud.
The governor further assured President Tinubu of the loyalty and support of the government and the people of Yobe State to his administration.
He wished Tumsah and the new board a very successful tenure in office with great service to the nation.
