Police in Adamawa arrest 30-year-old man for allegedly defiling 5-year-old girl
The Adamawa State police command arrested Usman Inusa, a 30-year-old man, on November 9, over allegations of defiling a 5-year-old girl in Dikon Nasarawo, Mayo Belwa Local Government Area.
The father of the victim, Adamu Ahmed, reported the case to the police station, prompting an immediate investigation ordered by the state Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola.

After swift action by the state detectives, the suspect, who is reported to be a close family member, was apprehended.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect is also allegedly involved in the theft of domestic animals in Nasawo Dikon.
Currently, the suspect is in police custody and will soon face arraignment in court.
