President Tinubu mourns famous actor, Samanja
President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the family of retired soldier, broadcaster, and veteran actor, Usman Baba Pategi (Samanja), who passed away at the age of 84.
The President mourned the loss of the renowned actor, describing it as a significant loss to the nation. He praised the late Pategi for his contributions in various aspects of his life, emphasizing the impact he made on the country.

According to President Tinubu, the late Pategi answered the call to serve his nation when it was most needed. His iconic television show, Samanja, provided must-watch entertainment for many years and portrayed national values and respect for service personnel to the younger generation. President Tinubu urged the Pategi family, the people and government of Kwara state, the Pategi Emirate Council, and the Nigerian entertainment industry to find solace in the remarkable legacy left behind by the deceased.
