Woman in Adamawa cuts off 75-year-old lover’s private part
A shocking incident occurred in Adamawa State as a 25-year-old woman reportedly cut off the genitalia of her 75-year-old lover, Daniel Jaja, in response to an alleged attempted rape.
The incident took place in Mukuvinyi village, Mubi local government area, on October 18, 2023.
According to the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Command in Adamawa State, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the accused visited Jaja’s residence, where he began making unwanted advances towards her. When he attempted to rape her, the woman took desperate measures to defend herself.

Nguroje stated, “Investigation, so far, revealed that the victim, while trying to prevent the act, used a razor blade to cut the man’s genitals, leaving him with a severe injury. He is now receiving treatment at a hospital.”
Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola, expressed his disapproval of the disturbing incident. He has ordered the officer in charge of the Family Support Unit to handle the investigation and ensure a thorough prosecution.
In light of this incident, the police commissioner urged the public, particularly those in rural communities, to provide timely information on criminal activities against women. It is essential to prioritize the safety and well-being of individuals and take swift action to address such incidents.
