Bandits strike again in Taraba, kill district head
Bandits have brutally taken the life of Ali Hakimi, the district head of Sarkin Kudu town in Ibbi Local Government Area of Taraba State.
The heinous act occurred at around 12:30 am on Friday as the bandits, estimated to be around 10 in number, forced their way into Hakimi’s palace and fatally shot him.
This incident follows a series of attacks carried out by the bandits in the area, resulting in the abduction of several individuals.

According to a source identified as Bello Adamu, the deceased was reportedly the brother of the chief of Sarkin Kudu chiefdom.
“The attackers escaped into the bush after killing the district head and everyone in the area is leaving in fear because nobody knows the next target of the bandits,” the source said.
Unfortunately, as of the time of filing this report, the police spokesperson in the state, SP Usman Abdullahi, could not be reached for comment on this matter.
