Legal Forum calls for compensation, independent investigation into Tudun Biri attack
The Concerned Northern Legal Forum has demanded justice for the victims of last Sunday’s drone attacks in Tudun Biri, which claimed the lives of innocent Nigerians celebrating the Maulud.
Spokesperson for the forum, Mr Nafi’iu Abubakar, expressed deep concern about the Nigerian Army’s involvement in the attack and called for an immediate and thorough independent investigation into the incident.
In a press briefing in Kaduna, Abubakar stated that the tragic incident had left the forum deeply saddened and concerned about the safety and security of citizens.

He further added that such occurrences should never have happened, especially during a time of joyful celebration and unity.
The forum plans to take legal action against the Federal Government to secure adequate compensation for the victims and their families who have suffered irreparable loss.
Abubakar urged the Nigerian Army to re-evaluate its rules of engagement and training procedures.
The forum extended its condolences to the families affected and pledged unwavering support in pursuing compensation and ensuring justice is served.
