Tinubu mourns Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah, praises his achievements
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the ruling Sabah family, the government, and the people of Kuwait following the passing of Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah.
In a statement released by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Tinubu praised the late Emir as a man of great compassion, peace, and mercy who granted amnesty to political prisoners and dissidents during his short time in office.

The President’s condolences come as he applauds the late Emir’s achievements in fostering a progressive and stable state.
Tinubu prayed that Allah would grant Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah mercy and a place in Aljannah Firdaus.
