Why NDLEA officers stormed wedding reception in Katsina to arrest groom, guests
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) raided a wedding reception and arrested 25 guests including the groom.
Femi Babafemi, the Director of Media and Advocacy for the agency, in a statement issued on Facebook, said the wedding was used as a cover for a drug party and other illicit activities.
Babafemi advised the public to be conscious of the type of gatherings they attend and avoid the negative influence of drugs.

In addition to the arrests made at the wedding reception, the agency also reported significant seizures of cocaine consignments from major drug cartels.
He said the arrested individuals, including the groom, are currently in custody as investigations into the matter continue.
Babafemi said the NDLEA is committed to tackling drug-related offences and ensuring that those involved face the appropriate legal consequences for their actions.
