Gov. Aiyedatiwa nominates Olayide Owolabi Adelami as deputy governor
Following the dissolution of the State Executive Council (SEC) earlier on Wednesday, Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has nominated Chief Olayide Owolabi Adelami as the new deputy governor of the state. Adelami, a former Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly (DCNA), emerged as the governor’s choice for the deputy governorship position.
The nomination of Adelami, a seasoned professional with a background in national legislative affairs, comes as part of a strategic decision by Governor Aiyedatiwa.
The nomination is now poised for the next stages in the political process, pending screening and confirmation by the Ondo State House of Assembly.
