Father beheads his infant son to seek success in cybercrimes

A man, identified as Bright in Awutu Brereku, Central Region, Ghana, has been arrested for the gruesome act of beheading his three-week-old son in pursuit of sika duro (money rituals).

Reports suggest that Bright, a corn mill operator, conspired with a friend to abduct his child from the baby mama with the intention of using the infant for money rituals.

The disturbing plan unfolded as Bright and his accomplice attempted to steal the three-week-old baby from its mother.

Subsequently, they took the child to a nearby bush, where Bright beheaded the infant and buried the remains.

Investigations reveal that Bright, having associations only with individuals involved in sakawa (cyber fraud), might have been influenced to commit this heinous crime in the pursuit of wealth.

Currently, both Bright and the friend who aided him in this atrocious act are in police custody. The authorities are diligently conducting investigations into this deeply distressing case.
