KACRAN urges minister Kyari to sustain Tinubu’s vision for food security
The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) is calling on Agriculture and Food Security Minister, Senator Abubakar Kyari, to fulfill President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision for national food security, as stated by Hon. Khalil Mohammed Bello, National President of KACRAN.
President Tinubu, recognised as a determined leader, has taken decisive actions, such as removing the oil subsidy, to maintain governance momentum.
Acknowledging the Minister’s crucial role in national development, KACRAN underscores the trust placed in Senator Kyari to address food security, vital for peace, stability, and nation-building.
KACRAN sees Senator Kyari’s appointment as a testament to the President’s commitment to ensuring all Nigerians have access to nutritious food, evident in the substantial ministry budget. While recognising the Minister’s consultations with farmers in Abuja, KACRAN advocates for a balanced resource allocation, pushing for a fifty-fifty disbursement strategy to support both herders and farmers.
The association emphasizes the Minister’s capability to supply diverse and nutritious food to over two hundred million Nigerians.
