Yobe vigilantes neutralise 3 Boko Haram terrorists
In a courageous operation in Yobe State, vigilante group fighters successfully thwarted the advances of three Boko Haram insurgents on Gonori Road in Gujba Local Government Area of the state.
The intense encounter unfolded during the night as the insurgents attempted to traverse from Gonori to Katarko Road.
The vigilante group, in collaboration with soldiers, engaged the insurgents in Katarko village during a routine patrol.
Tragically, amidst the valiant efforts, one vigilante was killed, and another sustained injuries as they inadvertently triggered an explosive device strategically planted by the insurgents.

The incident underscores the ongoing challenges faced by local security forces in combating the Boko Haram insurgency in the region.
