Former Yobe Governor, Bukar Abba Ibrahim, is dead

Bukar Abba Ibrahim, a former governor of Yobe State and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has died at the age of 74.

Neptune Prime gathered that the politician died after a protracted illness at Saudi-German Hospital in Mecca and burial will hold in Mecca today, Sunday 4th February 2024.

Late Bukar Abba was the governor of Yobe State from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007 and from January 1992 to November 1993.

He was elected to the Senate for the Yobe East constituency in 2007 and won his re-election bid in April 2011.

He is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Late Abba Bukar Ibrahim is survived by three wives and 17 children.
