The exodus from APC to NNPP has been met with mixed reactions, with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf expressing gratitude for the former APC members’ decision to join NNPP.
Governor Yusuf emphasized fairness and inclusivity within the new party, pledging to prioritise social and economic development in key sectors such as education, health, agriculture, and human empowerment.
The defection, which coincides with the end of tenure for the local government Chairmen, underscores the evolving political landscape in Kano.
As Governor Yusuf welcomes the defectors and their supporters, the stage is set for a new chapter in the state’s political narrative.
