Nigeria U17 women crush Central African Republic 12-0 on aggregate

The Nigerian U17 women’s football team, known as the Flamingos, issued a resounding warning to other teams in the African qualifying series for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.

The Flamingos triumphed over their Central African Republic counterparts with an impressive 12-0 aggregate victory in their second-round fixture.

Maintaining their unbreached performance from the first leg in Douala with a 6-0 win, the Flamingos replicated their dominance at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja with another convincing 6-0 triumph.

The Flamingos now advance to face the winner between Burkina Faso and Guinea in the third round of the series as they vie for a spot in the final tournament in the Dominican Republic later this year. Burkina Faso won the first leg against Guinea with a 4-1 scoreline.
