Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) , Katsina State chapter celebrates International Women’s Day
As the World celebrates the International Women’s Day today March 8, the Katsina State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) joins the womanhood across the globe to celebrate this great day.
As this year’s theme implies, ‘Invest in Women: Accelerate Process’ We call on all stakeholders from the grassroots to always invest in women as they are the backbone of every society’s development and progression.
To our fellow women, we urge you all to work hard and be strong as we continue to strive in these difficult times especially in Nigeria where inflation is ravaging the country.

Women also on our quota, let us succeed together by shuning tribal or religious centiment and to focus on the building of our gender for self-reliance for the better of our society.
We in the Katsina State chapter will remain grateful to our mother body, the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, government and people of the State for the overwhelming support accorded us while we solicit from all and sundry to rally round women in the State for a better society.
