Bandits ambush Katsina Transport Authority Vehicle, abduct numerous passengers

A group of bandits launched a brazen attack in broad daylight in the Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, resulting in the apparent kidnapping of numerous passengers.
The targeted vehicle was an eighteen-seater bus with the registration number 14B-300-KT, operated by the Katsina State Transport Authority, while en route from Funtua LGA to Katsina LGA.

According to an eyewitness, the incident took place between the Burdugau and Yargoje communities, just before reaching Kankara town.
Kankara, situated in the Katsina South region, is known for frequent bandit activities, causing residents and commuters to live in constant fear of such attacks.
