Blind mother welcomes twins months after daughter’s disappearance
In a heartwarming turn of events, visually-impaired mother Agnes Forte, who endured the anguish of her daughter Excel’s disappearance last November, has given birth to a set of twins.
Agnes, whose one-year-old daughter went missing in Akowonjo, Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State, welcomed the newborns in the early hours of Wednesday.
The arrival of the twins comes just four months after Agnes raised alarm over Excel’s disappearance, who was last seen in the company of her step-sister, Joy.

Sharing her gratitude and hopes, Agnes expressed, “I thank God for the safe delivery and the blessings of a set of twins. I am also hopeful that my missing daughter will be found.”
However, despite the joyous occasion, Agnes lamented her inability to settle the hospital bills, resulting in her prolonged stay. She revealed, “I have not been able to settle my hospital bills. That is why I have been here since Wednesday. My husband has been trying but he is yet to raise the money.”
The hospital management’s insistence on payment adds further strain to the family’s ordeal, threatening to escalate the situation.
