VP Shettima unveils initiative in Gombe to create 2,000 jobs
Vice President Kashim Shettima is set to launch the Outsource To Nigeria Initiative (OTNI) and inaugurate the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Centre in Gombe.
The BPO Centre, the largest of its kind in Nigeria and the first in the Northeast sub-region, will generate over 2,000 job opportunities for the state’s talented youth.
In a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director of Press Affairs to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yaya, the BPO centre positions Gombe as a hub for outsourcing services, capitalizing on the skills and potential of its youth.

The OTNI is hailed as a transformative force in the business process and technology-enabled outsourcing sector, offering a swift pathway to job security for Gombe’s youth.
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya expressed gratitude to Vice President Shettima for his commitment to the economic development of the state and Nigeria.
The administration’s engagement in the OTNI reflects its dedication to providing sustainable employment opportunities and empowering youth for meaningful contributions to the state’s progress.
The launch, expected to be attended by key stakeholders from the public and private sectors, marks a significant step towards economic empowerment and development in Gombe.
