Adamawa police arrest 6 for house, store break-ins

The Adamawa State Police Command, through spokesperson SP Suleiman Nguroje, has reported the apprehension of six individuals by the Command Anti Shilla Squad for criminal conspiracy, store breaking, and theft.

The arrested suspects are suspected of engaging in breaking into houses and stores, with a focus on nighttime activities.

During the interrogation process, various stolen items such as clothing, shoes, and mobile handsets were recovered.

One notable incident involved a recent break-in at Sanusi Yahaya’s shop on Bishop Street in Jimeta, Yola North, where a substantial amount of valuables were taken.

The suspects, identified as Sani Sale (18), Abdulganiyu Abdullahi (19), Ibrahim Abubakar (20), Sadiq Muhammed (21), Bello Salisu (20), and Isa Umar (22), will face court charges and diligent prosecution.

The arrests highlight the commitment of law enforcement in addressing criminal activities and maintaining public safety in Adamawa State. These decisive actions aim to combat criminal behavior and provide reassurance to residents regarding the authorities’ dedication to upholding law and order.
