Tragedy as 20 church members die in road accident
Over 20 members of The Lord’s Chosen Church have reportedly died in a road accident in Owerri, Imo State.
According to reports, the accident took place at the Orogwe end of the Owerri-Onitsha expressway on Friday, April 19, 2024.
It was gathered that the church members were traveling to Owerri for the Church’s City-Wide crusade when the vehicles they were in collided with a tipper.
It was reported that the church’s general overseer, Lazarus Muoka, had earlier arrived in the state through Sam Mbakwe cargo airport and was received by senior members of the church.
