Holders Barcelona secured their spot in the Women’s Champions League final in a contentious 2-0 win against Chelsea in the semi-final second leg clash on Saturday.

Despite trailing 1-0 from the first leg, Jonatan Giraldez’s side claimed the lead at Stamford Bridge through Ballon d’Or winner Aitana Bonmati.

Chelsea’s Kadeisha Buchanan received a controversial second booking, resulting in her dismissal in the second half.

Fridolina Rolfo sealed Barcelona’s 2-1 aggregate victory with a debatable penalty.
