Adamawa Police nabbed fraudster who pretends to be a ghost 

The Adamawa State Police Command has nabbed a 39-year old man, Sani Mamman, who poses as a ghost to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

Spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who disclosed this in a statement last Saturday in Yola, described the suspect as, “a notorious 419.”

He said the suspect who was apprehended after a discreet investigation by men of the command had been defrauding.his victims by pretending to be a ghost by cleverly sounding or speaking with different tones while speaking with his target victim.

Many members of the public have fallen prey to the pranks of criminals who defraud them by posturing as ghosts or jins. The crime is most prevalent in the northern parts of the country where many believe in the existence and extraordinary powers of invisible beings of jins and ghosts.
