Allegations of foul play arise as 4-year-old boy tragically passes away in Abuja school
A devastating incident occurred at BrickHall Schools in Abuja’s Cadastral Zone B11, Kaura, as four-year-old student Miguel Ovoke tragically passed away during the school’s feeding hours on Wednesday.
According to the April 24, 2024 death certificate issued by Excel Specialist Hospital in Abuja, Ovoke was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state by his teachers around 11 am.
The medical report, signed by Dr. Akinwande Ajayi, stated that he had suffered from “aspiration on meat while feeding at school.”
Medical assessments revealed alarming signs, with his pupils fixed and dilated, no response to light, impalpable peripheral pulses, unrecordable blood pressure, and no signs of cardiopulmonary or respiratory activity.

Despite the medical team’s extensive efforts to resuscitate him, they were unable to revive him, and he was declared “Brought in Dead.”
In light of these tragic events, the grieving parents of the deceased suspect foul play and have sought legal representation from lawyer Deji Adeyanju for further investigation and action.
While attempts to reach the school authorities have been unsuccessful thus far, inquiries into the circumstances surrounding Miguel Ovoke’s untimely death continue.
