The Nigerian Army headquarters has taken decisive action in response to the tragic death of the manager of Damgrete Hotel in Umuahia, Abia State, ordering the arrest and investigation of the officers implicated in the incident.

Major Gen Onyema Nwachukwu, the Director of Army Public Relations, announced the Army’s commitment to ensuring that justice is served and that any personnel found responsible for the manager’s death face the full consequences of their actions.

The statement titled “Nigerian Army to Investigate Personnel Allegedly Involved in Death of Hotel Manager in Umuahia” underscores the Army’s dedication to upholding professionalism and discipline within its ranks. It extends heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased manager, Mr. Achimugu James Etubi, and the Nigerian Air Force Officer Cadet Emmanuel Chidiebere Onyemereche.
