A chilling episode transpired in Nekede, Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, where an unidentified man reportedly launched a vicious attack on his wife amidst suspicions of her infidelity.

According to witnesses, a viral video captured the horrifying moment when the man, armed with a knife, assaulted his spouse.

The unsettling incident came to light after a concerned neighbor tipped off the husband on April 10th about suspicions of his wife’s extramarital affair transpiring within their shared residence.

Reacting swiftly to the alarming information, the husband rushed home, only to be confronted with a distressing scene allegedly showing his wife in the company of her suspected lover within their marital quarters.

Shockingly, their innocent 6-year-old daughter was reportedly left unattended in the living quarters during the tumultuous encounter. Enraged by what he perceived as a betrayal, the husband purportedly unleashed a violent assault on his wife, inflicting severe injuries with the weapon at his disposal.
