Salesgirl in Damaturu robbed, stabbed by unknown assailant

In a disturbing incident, a 24-year-old salesgirl, Sheba Simon, fell victim to an attack by an unknown assailant while on her way home from work.
The incident occurred on April 28, 2024, around 21:30hrs near Damaturu City Academy in Malari Bye Pass.
According to reports received from Operation Haba Maza, Sheba Simon, after closing her shop in Jerusalem, was ambushed by the perpetrator who snatched her phone and stabbed her in the back with a knife.
The assailant then fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

“Upon receiving the report, law enforcement led by Supol Charlie XXXXXX swiftly responded to the scene, but the culprit had already escaped.
Sheba Simon was immediately taken to Specialist Hospital Damaturu for medical treatment, where she is currently responding well to the care provided.”
Investigations into the incident are ongoing as authorities work to apprehend the perpetrator and bring them to justice.
