The Legend of Katagwan: A true Arewa giant in Kagoro land, Kaduna State
In the heart of Kagoro Land, Kaduna State, there lies a remarkable legend – Katagwan. Known as a true Arewa giant, Katagwan’s story transcends time, weaving together elements of courage, justice, and the enduring spirit of the people.
Katagwan’s story begins in the village of Dusai, where he lived and made his mark. His descendants, the Kagwan clan, proudly carry on his legacy to this day. But Katagwan was more than just a giant in stature; he was a symbol of fairness and equality in his community.
In times of hunting disputes, Katagwan’s wisdom shone brightly. Using his long arm, he would settle arguments by placing the disputed prey at the rightful hunter’s doorstep, ensuring fairness for all.
