Abuja residents enjoy free beer as truck loaded with alcohol tips over Berger Road

Residents of Abuja on Tuesday enjoyed complimentary beers when a truck carrying bottles of alcohol tipped over near the popular Berger roundabout.
The mishap occurred around 4 pm along Mabushi and Berger expressway, as the truck swerved off the road due to the driver’s inability to maintain control.
Following the accident, onlookers and drivers were seen helping themselves to bottles of beer as they gathered around the overturned truck.
The incident also caught the attention of some wealthy individuals in Abuja, who quickly stopped their luxury cars and SUVs to join in the impromptu celebration.
The scene resembled a festive atmosphere, with delivery riders, ride-sharing drivers, and others pausing their activities to join in the revelry.
Many residents left with cases of beer, while some even brought buckets to collect more.
Reportedly, the company’s management instructed the driver to allow people to enjoy the beer to prevent waste.
Additionally, road safety officials were present to remove the truck from the scene.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
