The Emir of Tikau in Nangere local government area of Yobe State, Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Grema, OON, is dead.
The monarch, whose palace is in Sabon Garin Nangere, died at the Yobe State Specialist Hospital Potiskum after a protracted illness.
Mai Tikau’s palace has given details of his burial arrangement to be held on Saturday 11/5/2024 by 4:00pm in his palace Sabon Garin Nangere.
Tikau Emirate is one of 14 Emirates in the Yobe State Council of Traditional Chiefs, headed by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Fika, Alhaji Muhammadu Abali Ibn Idrissa.
