FoodCo employees in court for allegedly stealing 2 loaves of bread

Two staff members of FoodCo, located on Ring Road, found themselves in the spotlight as Ebenezer Olusesi, 31, and Ibrahim Adeniyi, 41, were taken to the Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court on Monday for reportedly taking two loaves of bread valued at N2,600 from their workplace.

The duo, Olusesi the baker and Adeniyi the security guard, both pleaded not guilty to the charge of theft.

According to the Prosecution Counsel, Cpl. David Adepoju, the defendants supposedly collaborated in committing the alleged crime.

The prosecutor stated that on April 28, the defendants allegedly took the two loaves of bread, valued at N2,600, belonging to FoodCo Company situated on Ring Road in Ibadan, acting on behalf of Friday Achibong.
