Gov. Zulum launches initiative to empower youths, support teachers, farmers

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno has launched a groundbreaking development initiative focused on empowering the youth, supporting educators, and bolstering the local economy in northern Borno.

One of the key aspects of the initiative is the establishment of rice farms by the government to provide sustainable income opportunities for local farmers and offer employment to the youth.

Furthermore, Zulum enrolled 150 youths in a digital literacy training program and provided teachers in remote areas with new quarters for better living conditions.

The Governor also inspected the progress of a project constructing 45 classrooms, which will enhance the learning environment for thousands of students in Northern Borno.
