Kawthar’s unwavering dedication to achieving success served as her primary driving force as she forged her path to success. Fueled by a fervent drive for achievement, Kawthar Shehu Toro rose to prominence as the highest scorer in the UTME in Gombe state.
Her days dedicated to studying and her evenings devoted to digesting the contents of her books earned her accolades.
Undoubtedly, Kawthar is an epitome of scholarly achievement. Her accomplishments not only illustrate academic excellence, but also signify a rebirth of hope for the future leaders.
Kawthar Shehu Toro, an indigene of Bauchi state, is a proud daughter of Dr. Shehu Toro, a medical consultant working with King Saud Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and her Mother Mrs Shehu Toro, a lecturer in Computer Science department, Ahmadu Bello University, Samaru, Zaria.
The 16-year-old disclosed in her interview with Daily Trust, that she is a student of Pen Resource Academy. Her academic journey began in Dolphin School Zaria, then proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University Staff school for her basic education in Zaria as well. After she graduated from primary school she joined Pen Resource Academy, where she had her JSS1 to SS3 classes.
Kawthar believes hardwork, focus, determination and sacrifice are major keys to success. In her quest for success, she did not just focus on learning or changing her sleep pattern, she also believed in herself as a go-getter.
Though she always topped the class, Kawthar did not deem it necessary to live on that glory but the need to explore her abilities to do better.
Striking out competition with fellow mates for competition with self to unveil more achievements.
Kawthar believes in setting goals and having full focus on achieving those goals. In her quest for success, she did not just beat her own target which was initially to score 250 in UTME, Kawthar amazed us with an outstanding score 348.
The remarkable young woman aspires to become a medical doctor long before fully understanding the field of medicine. She also intends to explore double source of income by venturing in to business.
However, her success story will be incomplete without acknowledging her family’s efforts in supporting and encouraging her along side Pen Resource Academy school, for taking the right steps in ensuring that their students were well prepared for the UTME.
