NFF reveals Finidi George as new Super Eagles coach
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially introduced Finidi George as the new head coach of the Super Eagles.
In a special ceremony held at the NFF secretariat in Abuja on Monday, the 53-year-old was revealed as the new leader of the team.
The event was graced by prominent figures including Sports Minister John Enoh, NFF President Ibrahim Gusau, and Secretary General Mohammed Sanusi.
This unveiling marks the commencement of Finidi’s journey as head coach of the three-time African champions.

Having previously served as an assistant coach under Jose Peseiro for 20 months and briefly taking on the role of caretaker coach for friendlies against Ghana and Mali in March, Finidi is now set to take charge officially.
His inaugural official match as head coach will be against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana next month. This highly anticipated encounter will serve as a significant moment that will reveal the direction of his reign with the Super Eagles.
