Police in Kaduna arrest notorious bandit, rescue 3 kidnapped victims
Operatives of the Kaduna State Police Command have arrested Muhammad Bello, a notorious bandit and close associate of Dogo Haliru, during an operation in Kidandan, Birnin Gwari Local Government Area.
“The 30-year-old, from Igabi Local Government Area, is linked to numerous attacks in Zamfara, Katsina, and along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway”.
Acting on credible intelligence from Operation Yaki, the police engaged in a gunfight with bandits who had blocked the Kidandan-Dogon Dawa Road and kidnapped several people.

Despite the bandits deflating two tires of the police Armoured Personnel Vehicle, the police successfully rescued three victims: Ashiru Abubakar from Batagarawa, Ahmed Ibrahim from Dutsen Ma, and Shehu Kabiru from Kidandan.
This was confirmed in a statement by the Kaduna State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan.
