Senator Gaidam mourns late Emir of Tikau, Alhaji Muhammadu Abubakar Grema
The Minister of Police Affairs, His Excellency Senator Ibrahim Gaidam, has described as a “monumental loss” the death of the Emir of Tikau, Alhaji Muhammadu Abubakar Ibn-Grema.
This was contained in a statement by the Honourable Minister shortly after he paid a condolence visit to the emirate in Nangere L.G.A.
He described the late Emir who died at 70 as a peace lover who detested violence and was dedicated to a stable and united Tikau Emirate.

“The late Emir was a man of integrity, a peace loving royal father who detested violence; and his greatest legacy was his dedication to a stable and united Tikau Emirate.
“His reign was marked by unwavering dedication, grace, and service to the people, and his loss leaves a deep void in our hearts.
“As we mourn the departure of a revered leader, let us also remember the enduring legacy of His Highness, whose wisdom and vision have left an indelible mark in the history of our state.
“His commitment to the welfare and prosperity of his subjects will be remembered for generations to come.
“As we honour his memory, let us continue to uphold the values and principles for which he stood, ensuring a legacy of peace, prosperity, and progress for all,” Senator Gaidam said.
The Senator urged the new Emir to follow the footprint of his late father, whose legacy of services to humanity and dedication remains in the book of history.
Senator Gaidam prayed that Almighty Allah will bless him with Aljanna Firdaus and grant the royal family, and the entire people of Tikau Emirate the fortitude to bear the loss.
