Tinubu in Lagos to commission Lagos-Calabar coastal road, others
President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos to inaugurate the Lagos-Calabar Superhighway, a 700 km coastal road connecting Lagos to Cross River. This N15 trillion project traverses Ogun, Ondo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, and Akwa Ibom states.
Despite criticisms over its timing, Works Minister Dave Umahi insists the project serves Nigerians’ best interests.
Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga announced that Tinubu will also commission other projects to mark his one-year anniversary, including the refurbished Third Mainland Bridge and the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges nationwide.
