Troops in Borno neutralise manufacturer of explosives for terrorists

Troops from Operation Desert Sanity III and Operation Hadin Kai successfully eliminated a top ISWAP Commander, Malam Muhammad, responsible for creating Vehicle Bomb Improvised Explosive Devices (VBEID) in Sambisa Forest.
Intelligence reports from the Lake Chad region revealed that Muhammad was killed on May 14 during a meticulously planned operation in Ukuba and Njimia in Bama local government area of Borno State.
Muhammad operated a significant workshop where he produced Person Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (PBVIED), Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosives Devices (VBIED), and Road Side Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (RSBIED).
He was also involved in recruiting underage children and brainwashing them into becoming suicide bombers, promising them a place in heaven.
Tragically, among those used as human bombs were his own three children.
The troops also foiled an attempt by the terrorists to detonate a vehicle armed with explosives targeting the advancing troops.
Despite facing challenges like difficult terrain and IED threats, the troops remain resolute in their mission to eliminate the fleeing terrorists and maintain the necessary momentum.
