Chelsea welcomes Enzo Maresca as new manager
In an exciting announcement today, Chelsea shared that Enzo Maresca will be taking the helm as their new manager.
The Italian coach, aged 44, joins the Blues on a five-year deal, stepping in to replace the recently departed Mauricio Pochettino.
Maresca, who led Leicester City to a Championship title last season after being appointed in June 2023, is set to bring his coaching expertise to Chelsea.
The club expressed their delight in adding Maresca to their team, stating, “He is a highly gifted coach and leader that we are confident can help fulfill our vision and competitive goals for the club,” as shared by the club’s ownership group.

This new chapter for Chelsea comes after Pochettino left by mutual consent last month, despite a strong finish to the season.
