Father of Many: Dr Gimba’s selfless support for Nigeria youths, by Musa Sakinat Abubakar

As I sit here, reflecting on my journey, I am reminded of the struggles I faced as a young Nigerian. The search for a better life, a decent job, and a sense of purpose seemed like an endless quest. But then, I met Dr. Hassan Gimba, Publisher/ Founder of Neptune Prime Media House, a man with a zeal to help youths like me get ahead.

His approach was unconventional, yet revolutionary. He didn’t care about my degree or field; he saw potential in me and offered a chance to learn and grow. His organisation became a school where I got paid to learn, a rare opportunity in a country where jobs are scarce.

Dr. Gimba’s leadership was more like fatherly guidance. He paid for our training, mentored us, and pushed us to reach our full potential. His doors were open to all, regardless of qualifications or experience. He believed in us when we didn’t believe in ourselves.

If Nigeria had more individuals like Dr. Hassan Gimba, our streets would be filled with hope and opportunity, not despair and desperation. Our youths would be engaged, motivated, and inspired to reach their full potential.

To the fathers and mothers of our nation, who have the means and resources, I urge you to follow in Dr. Gimba’s footsteps. Invest in the youth, believe in them, and provide them with the support and guidance they need to succeed.

We don’t need the government to create jobs; we are the government ourselves. Let us rise to the challenge, support and uplift one another, and create a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.
